This is the picture I used the guide for. It's awful! It looks almost blurred - the edges aren't even defined enough for you to see the straps! My older drawing of the ribbon shoes looks really similar to how this one is coloured in. This is a good exercise in learning about drawing textures - you'd think it was a black (or maybe grey...) and white shoe - there's no way you could see it in glossy black!
