Now this is where it all started coming together - black felt tips and silver gel pens. Although the camera flash makes the bottom buckle look white, you get the idea of what the object really looks like, and an impression of the texture much better. I'm going to do another photo of this one later so you can see better.
This is a blog of all my (non-sketchbook) artwork during my OCA drawing course - although I have been on the course a while, I neglected writing much about it until started the blog, and had a backlog of things to share. So it may start in a very prolific way, and when I have caught up with my work at the present, tail off slightly. But anyway - this is my online log of the artwork I've done, and my notes on it - I keep the other part of my log: the places I've been, things I like, artists I've looked at, in a book like a sketchbook. I thought this would be the best way, so that I could keep a photographic record of all my drawings in case they get lost or damaged, and a book of pasted in pictures I'm ok about writing around (and to avoid any copyright issues from embedding other people's work!). It just works best for me. Just a couple of notes to add: All my 'old' drawings are from mid '09, and I've included them to help show my progress. The posts without 'old' in the title are drawings from after I started the course to the present.
